Denominational Affairs Committee

The Denominational Affairs Committee is the human bond that connects the Fellowship to peer churches and fellowships, the Northeast Cluster of congregations, the Florida District, the Southern Region, and the Unitarian Universalist Association headquarters in Boston. We encourage all members of the Fellowship to attend these out-of-church Southern Region and Florida District events, and the annual General Assembly. But members of our committee have the particular responsibilities both to carry our voice to the gatherings and represent us, and also to be full participants in the activities and report back to the Fellowship through the newsletter and also at Sunday services. When denomination-wide issues are presented to congregations for consideration and vote, the Denominational Affairs Committee conducts polls and votes at the Fellowship and reports the outcomes back to the UUA in a timely way.
