What We Do - Our Programs, Activities and Events at Friendship Fellowship at Pineda are organized under the auspices of one or more of our various committees in charge of our different Programs and Activities. At this time a partial list of the Programs and Activities appears under Get Involved
Here is a brief description of some of the activities that are going on now at FFP:
We meet Sunday at 10:30 AM for an inspirational fellowship service and hear intellectually stimulating speakers to engage our thoughts and enhance our awareness of and sensitivity to moral and social concerns. After service we gather to interact and enjoy refreshments.
Before the service, from 9:15 to 10:15 there is a Sunday Morning discussion group of current events held in the Coffee House, the blue building closest to Route 1. All are welcome to attend.
During Sunday services, children can participate in Youth Religious education instruction with a focus on love, acceptance, fairness, and concern for one another and the environment.
There are Adult Religious education offerings to enhance our knowledge and expand our awareness. Various film series, religious discussions, book discussions, seminars, and forums (or combination of the four) are presented throughout the year. Please check the Calendar for the most current information.
We publish a newsletter, the Friendship Flyer, in which we report past and future program information and share members' thoughts.
We have a Women's Friendship Circle that meets the first Thursday of the month, 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM in the Coffee House. It also sponsors informal lunches, day trips, and fund raising events.
